On the road: Once again in Montana
Photo walk on a Sunday morning
This is my third time at this location at the northern end of Flathead Lake. For the first time, however, it's not winter, but late spring. As it has rained quite a lot, the landscape is wonderfully green. A different world.

An old gentleman walks his horse to the mailbox to see if any mail has arrived..

God and his ten commandments are also frequently seen companions here in the north of the USA.

Please also read my stories about my previous stays in the “Big Sky State”. So called because the sky seems infinite, especially in areas with wide plains and valleys, where the horizon is not obscured by tall buildings or dense forests. The nickname became popular after A.B. Guthrie Jr. published his book “The Big Sky” in 1947, in which he described the vastness of Montana's landscapes. Big Sky, a town in Montana, is a popular destination for skiers and other outdoor enthusiasts.
